What does a good city look like when children decide? Schoolchildren gave their dreams physical form through drawings, conversations and shared building.
The children’s future city
In February 2023, actor Charlotte Bøving guided 200 fourth- and fifth-grade pupils through ten workshops at Kulturhus Syd. Supported by Nordea-fonden, the project explored ideas ranging from football and community to animals, nature and aquatic environments.
The children contributed their own ideas as co-creators. That experience connects with the bid’s ambition to give children and young people opportunities to shape cultural life.
