Helsingør is bidding to become European Capital of Culture in 2032. The title has not yet been awarded. Selection takes place in two stages in 2026 and 2027 before Denmark’s host city is designated.
The candidacy is being developed jointly by Helsingør Municipality and the Elsinore 2032 association, alongside cultural institutions, education and local communities.
